Arturia AudioFuse 16Rig USB-C Audio/MIDI Interface

$ 1,299.00

The ultimate studio centerpiece for connecting an entire synth studio, complex live-audio routing, and advanced DAW recording, the Arturia AudioFuse 16Rig is a 32-in / 28-out USB-C audio / MIDI interface that lets you leave everything connected, route anything to anything, and be more creative with your projects. Either rackmounted or on a desktop, the interface provides extensive rear I/O connections for your equipment while leaving the front panel open for additional microphones, instruments, music players, or USB devices. Featuring premium 24-bit / 192 kHz AD/DA converters and Wordclock I/O, AudioFuse 16Rig lets you record synths, guitars, vocals, or a combination of inputs with high-quality audio, and monitor your sound accurately—all perfectly in sync.

Equipped with two, low-latency internal MIDI-controllable DSP mixers, AudioFuse 16Rig can function as a standalone mixer, allowing for DAWless recording, live mixing, and intricate audio routing without the need for a computer. The included AudioFuse Control Center software provides a powerful matrix for quick and flexible configuration of any type of connection to suit any need, including multiple sends/returns, A/B speaker monitoring, and more. Save your configurations and mix settings as presets, control modular synths with DC-coupled outputs, use the Reamp feature for versatile guitar tracking, and connect multiple USB devices with class-compliant connections.

  • 8 x DC-coupled 1/4" TRS line outputs.
  • 2 x 1/4" front-panel outputs for reamping, dual-headphones.
  • 2 x ADAT in, 2 x ADAT out.
  • Wordclock and clock I/O.
  • 1 x 5-pin DIN MIDI in, 2 x 5-pin DIN MIDI out/thru.

Two Standalone Mixers—No Computer Needed
  • For DAWless recording, live mixing, and outside-the-box audio configuration, AudioFuse 16Rig just works.
  • Fire up its two low-latency internal mixers for sessions away from the studio, process audio and MIDI without a computer connection, and save your configurations for instant recall and quick setup switching. The Main mixer controllable via MIDI.

Intricate Audio Routing
  • Get hands-on with an interface that lets you configure its connections to suit any need, including multiple sends/returns for effects, quick A/B speaker monitoring, and more.
  • The included AudioFuse Control Center even features a matrix configuration to quickly connect anything and everything.
Quantity, Meet Quality
  • Give every recording the shine, clarity, and projection it deserves with two, high-performance digitally controlled and recallable preamps, and 24-bit / 192 kHz AD/DA converters from ESS and Cirrus Logic.
  • Whether it’s red-hot synths, dynamic guitars, delicate vocals, or any combination of inputs, expect high-quality sound across the board.

Choose Your Workflow
  • Control AudioFuse 16Rig’s settings via the display or the included software, configure it for desktop or 1 RU rackmount operation.
  • See how your mix is behaving in real-time with the full-color display, showing levels, channels, vital settings, and more.
  • Essential info, settings, and visual feedback on your project is only ever a click away with accessible buttons next to the display.
  • Tweak and automate certain settings in your mix with CC assignments that can be controlled by MIDI gear.
  • Use the DC-coupled outputs to send signals to synth modules and connect your high-impedance headphones.

Hooking Up a Synth Rig
  • For synth lovers, analog enthusiasts, hands-on beat makers, and beyond, AudioFuse 16Rig is purpose-built to handle hardware—and lots of it. Connect up to 16 mono inputs and configure stereo channels for maximum polysynth width.
  • Hook up the interface to ADAT-compatible expanders and even send CV signals to your modular setup from its DC-coupled outputs.

Different Monitor Mixes
  • AudioFuse 16Rig’s Cue Mixer lets you create an entirely separate mix, with different channels, levels, and panning that can be sent to a separate headphone or speaker output.
  • Great for recording drums with guide tracks, keeping lead and backing vocals in harmony, or creating sub-mixes for on-the-fly processing.

Connections Ready for Any Session
  • Keep your staple instruments and devices connected to AudioFuse 16Rig’s rear I/Os, while still having plenty of options at the front.
  • Great for unexpected additions like when someone brings a different guitar, their own mic, a tape recorder, or a new sample recorded on their phone.

Multiple Effects Chains
  • Map out multiple send/return chains in visual detail and create custom effects chains with the help of AudioFuse Control Center’s matrix.
  • You might want reverb and compression on your vocals, distortion and chorus on your synths, and a dubby sprinkling of Delay TAPE-201 on your drum bus—no sweat.

Save Configurations for Instant Recall
  • Great for when you are working on different songs or different mixes that have the same connections.
  • Save your settings as a preset, so you can quickly recall or switch between them; saving you time in sessions or giving you instant flexibility for live performance.

Control Your Modular via DC-Coupled Outputs
  • Create a bridge between the flexibility of your DAW and the tactility of your synth hardware with CV control.
  • Using the right software, you can send control voltages from AudioFuse 16Rig’s DC-coupled outputs to compatible gear like Eurorack modules or CV-ready desktop synths for sequencing, modulating, and composing.

Reamping andHigh-Impedance Headphones
  • Send your dry guitar stems straight to external effects or amps without needing a DI box thanks to front panel outputs with true analog zero-latency passthrough.
  • Not only can these outputs (3-4) send line- or instrument-level signals; you can also configure them to connect high-impedance headphones for that extra boost when needed.

All The USB Connections You'll Need
  • Computer connections can come at a premium; AudioFuse 16Rig’s three USB-A hub slots are primed for connecting bus-powered MIDI controllers, external drives or USB sticks, and USB MIDI devices using class-compliant connectivity.

AudioFuse Control Center App
  • AudioFuse Control Center (AFCC) app controls the mixer, selection of inputs, routing, monitoring, and additional functions such as sampling rate, Clock Source, Pad, Cue, and more.
  • Another useful touch is that AudioFuse will remember the latest AFCC settings for standalone use until the next time you connect and change them.
