Not perfect, but for some reason I really like it!May 01, 2011
By Michael Cayton For the past 6 years I've been using a Microsoft wireless desktop combo. When it suddenly died, I thought it wouldn't be a problem to find a new keyboard. I couldn't have been more wrong. First of all, none of the current Microsoft wireless keyboards/desktop combo's I've seen have a "Sleep Button." Hate to say this was a deal breaker for me. I thought, what the hell, I'll spend some dough and buy a Logitech desktop. To be honest, the Logitech keyboard I got was great. However, little did I realize that the Logitech software caused a conflict in my system. When I pressed the "Sleep Button" the PC would attempt to sleep but then suddenly wake up. I called Logitech about this, but they didn't have a response. Additionally, Logitech's uninstall program didn't work (Logitech is aware of this and recommends a 3rd party uninstaller that they "Won't support"). In the end, I had to manually uninstall the Logitech software myself - Every single file and directory.
I was at a loss...Until Amazon recommended I look at the Verbatim Desktop combo. Not only does the keyboard feel good to the touch, but the mouse was a nice "Big size." This was great because I have big hands! Also, there's a 4th button on the top of the mouse that, when depressed, activates your preferred internet browser. Didn't think this would be useful, but I find myself using it all the time. The thumb clicker to move forward and backward isn't in the best position, I always feel I have to stretch for it. However, it's still usable.
Back to the keyboard. I didn't install the desktop's software for fear that it might cause a conflict in my system. However, despite my not installing the software, all the keyboard "Function" keys worked except for 2 of them - The "My Documents" and "Star (Windows 7)" buttons. Still, all the other buttons work great - Especially the "Sleep Button" which I can't do without.
The only reason I gave this desktop a 4/5 star rating was because it lacks a wrist rest on the keyboard. My old Microsoft keyboard did and so did the Logitech, which I had for a short period of time. But that was solved by purchasing the Handstands Wrist Rest 59220.
I realize this review was long, but I wanted to makes sure that it would be helpful to anyone who experienced the same issues I did.
A nice design, but poorly assembledOct 17, 2011
By Microbyte I love the design and comfort of this keyboard; it would be the perfect keyboard for me... if it worked. The first keyboard I purchased mostly worked, but the left control key had to be pressed down very hard for it to recognize the key press. I returned it for a replacement, but the second keyboard was even worse because the shift keys sporadically didn't work with certain key combinations.
I am disappointed with the quality and construction of this keyboard; this is not the best keyboard if you need a keyboard where all of the keys work.
keyoard, cordless and wirelessOct 17, 2011
By Ross Armeni Seems to be working fine, it would be helpful if it had some indicator lights. Really, without that you'd need to be a typing expert to figure out whether you have caps lock on or off. Or just a little necessary chart in the system tray blocking out other important info.
Sorry if that is a poor review, but let's face it, this keyboard really fits that bill.

By Slingoman Love the keyboard, but mouse is a little bulky and the back page button on the left is a headache at times. If you accidentally hit the button while composing, it erases everything
Pretty good productJan 27, 2011
