Projector Lamp by Unknown ManufacturerJun 04, 2009

Box was very plain. I was very concerned that the projector lamp I had received was actually previously used and returned to the vendor who then turned around and sold this product to me. I asked to return this product and exchange it for another lamp with a "new" label on it. The vendor told me that all of the lamps come without the label even though the installations directions that come with the lamp tell the end user to remove the new label before installing the lamp in the projector. However, he did promptly take back the lamp I had received and replaced it with another lamp that didn't look any better than the first lamp that looked "used". My conclusion is that this projector lamp is definitely not made by the manufacturer (Sony) of the projector, and I have serious doubts whether I will ever get the 2,000 hour lifetime rating for this projector lamp. In the end, I am very sorry that I didn't spend a few dollars more and didn't order a genuine Sony projector lamp. The LMP H200 lamp is awesome. IT was as described and restored my Projector back to its extremely Bight self. Installation is a Snap and the Box even contains a return lamp to recycle you old lamp. WE bought ours from OneCall and the delivered as promised Brand New Factory replacement.. Love it.. Bright Clear and easy to install.

Received product in great shape even bought a spare. You return old lamp and they recycle for free (actually think they use frame as replacement for another customer) with pre-paid shipping label and get $[...] rebate. 1st lamp lasted 411 hours but RMA was issues and lamp assembly was promptly replaced with just cost of returning old lamp assembly.

After 12 days, I received a "look alike" lamp of unknown quality with no company or country of manufacture printed on the lamp or its plain box. I have had short life and ignition problems with other fake lamps so will attempt to return this one which was purchased under the impression it was from SONY.

I ordered this replacement bulb for my Sony projector. The bulb did not work. I am now in the process of returning it back to Amazon and ordering another one. This was my first experience ordering a replacement bulb from Electrified. I called Electrified directly and they provided a less than useful explanation about how some of the bulbs they sell are DOA. Please be aware that these bulbs are not made by Sony and that the expected life span is much less than the original bulb that came with the projector.
