Love it. Easy to use and very stable!Mar 10, 2010

I love my joystick head! It is very intuitive, squeeze the trigger, move it around, and then release it when you've got the camera where you want it. While initially I could move my 5d and 70-200 lens around with this tripod head, even after releasing the trigger, a few twists of a screw made it completely stable. Highly recommend....

Great replacement for other tripod headsMay 07, 2010
By S. King I've never particularly liked ball tripod heads before, but a friend purchased this one and with our first day of shooting in the field, I was convinced I had to try this out. The best thing about this product is that it simplifies adjustment of the head from three steps to one step. You spend more time taking photos rather than getting ready to take photos.

Nice GripApr 17, 2010

If you are looking for a nice grip to put on your legs this grip is it. Solid, heavy duty and swivels with ease. I attach my Canon 50D with 70-200 lens and supports great. I can even turn sideways and holds firm.
Pros:
Well built, solid construction
Simple to attach and use
No drift
Cons
Heavy
This grip doubled the weight of my carbon fiber legs but I still highly recommend because of the functionality.

ExcellentMar 13, 2010
By E. Mancia Most of the time we use these ball heads for group photos or in studio portraits and they work perfect. Combine with the tripod legs, this units get a bit heavy, so if you are considering traveling look for another lighter combination. If you have them indoors or you will use them close to your car it is a solid piece of equipment.

Manfrotto 222 Joystick HeadNov 21, 2009
By S. Meyer
"Wedding Photographer"
Easy to use and fast for mounting the camera and making instant adjustments - just a squeeze of the handle. I have recommended this to other wedding photographers in the Indianapolis area and they love this product. It has a sturdy build. This is my second copy, which I purchased for the monopod. The other Manfrotto 222 is on my tripod.
