Amazing little miracleNov 06, 2009
By C. Bright This clamp is a remarkably versatile and powerful tool. I'm not a photographer, I'm handicapped and was searching for a trustworthy way to mount my optics and cameras to my mobility scooter and this unit is ideal for these and many other purposes. It is dynamically sturdy, extremely useful in dozens of applications, and is small enough to keep in any gear bag.
Do not hesitate, this clamp will do everything you expect it to do and will neatly complement all your devices.

hard coreSep 17, 2009
By M. Heltsley it is what it is. And it is a big heavy duty clamp with all sorts of applications. it is really good at clamping and staying securely clamped. It is also really good at holding heavy things, either by clamping them or by attaching to the various connection points or adapters. If you need a clamp and it needs to hold a bigger flash head, or a monoblock flash, or an SLR sized camera especially with a larger lens, then this is your clamp. If you don't need those things than this may be overkill and likely to heavy to be of real use to most photogs who value size and weight savings in their gear (and we all do).

High quality, great mounting hardwareOct 09, 2009
By Santiago Villa Michel Sturdy, high quality components. Is like a screwdriver, you can use it in many ways. I bought this product with a flash shoe adapter (from Stroboframe). I can use it with my flash to get macro pictures; put it in my mountain bike with a video camera and film the downhill fun, put my camera in a tree or in a window and with my remote shutter get incredible pictures . I will buy another in my next purchase.

one of my best friendsFeb 18, 2010
By Victor I have used these things since 1993. I have a bucket of them for various rigs of one sort or another. They simply work and are engineered flawlessly. I tried the knock-off brand, comes close, but this is still the one i rely on day-in and day-out. Definitely worth the price when it comes to my gear teetering 50 feet off of the ground.

tough, versatile, must have tool!Apr 19, 2011
By Brian Wiese I didn't realize how useful this is until I bought one... now I use it all the time! e.g. mounting other flashes and small softboxes to my light stands (for a mid-height light), backdrop stands (hair light), doors, tables, portable clothing racks, park benches, etc.
It's very tough and locks down tight even onto round objects with the rubberized triangle opening. I feel much more comfortable knowing my lights are "secure" in place with the Super Clamp!
