Does the Job - heavy duty is rightNov 19, 2010

I was looking for something I could clamp to lightweight lightstands to keep them weighted and this is the perfect solution when used with the Manfrotto 039 U-Hook Cross Bar Holders. You clamp onto the shaft of the lightstand and then hook your camera bag onto it - the camera bag acts as a very good sturdy weight if you have enough equipment in it. If not, you can fill a plastic bag with sand, dirt, rocks, or anything else and put it easily on the clamps. Saves from having to carry heavy sandbags or extra equipment when on location.
The clamp is heavy and very durable. And it clamps on superbly with a good grip.

I already owned one of these clamps when I purchased this second one. It is very well made and works great when coupled with a magic arm or similar device. I am very pleased with the product and would recommend it to any photographer looking for a versatile means of anchoring their equipment.
