The Honeycomb Speed Grid is exactly what I expected. I saw one demonstrated in a workshop and decided to purchase. It is good quality and does exactly what I expected in directling and softening the strobe flash. How I have to agreed with other writers and purchasers that why on earth do they not set the grid with the necessary mounting strap. I would still have purchased this grid, but the extra effort to order the mounting strap seems so unnecessary in time and effort. I know the strap is the foundation of all their product line of reflectors, but the option of buying with or without the strap would customer friendly.

When I first received my Speedgrid, I wasn't aware that I required the HonlPhoto Speed Strap for Shoe Mount Flashes.
The item is worth the 5 stars, but it would've been nice to have had a strap with it or been informed that one was a separate purchase.

I just received my HonlPhoto 1/8" Honeycomb Grid and I LOVE it. It makes for great "spot" lighting and gives an artistic flare to photos. The lighting it produces is amazing. I paired it with my FL-50, but it would probably work with almost any external flash you may have. I would recommend it 100%. Also, don't forget to get the velcro strap which this product attaches to. I think its about $9.99 on Amazon or if you're crafty you can make one yourself!
