4Good SD card case for the priceJun 25, 2006
By Nick Damato
This memory card wallet consists of a stiff plastic outer shell that is stuffed with thick, heavy rubber holders. The case is heavier than it looks and weighs a couple of ounces. It will support a lot of weight on it without damaging the cards.

There are tiny feet on the bottom that fit into tiny indentations on the top that will allow you to stack two or more cases and they won't slide off of each other as long as you don't bump them.

The hinge and the latch strike me as very flimsy, but so far, I've had no major problems.

One problem I did have is that the rubber slots grip the cards so tightly that if you're not careful when removing a card you can pop the "lock" slider out of the card. That happened to me, but I was easily able to pop the slider back into the card. You can quickly and easily develop the technique of handling the cards that will prevent this from happening.

It's not high-end but does the job for the money.

5Hakuba DMSP Secure Ditital Memory WalletFeb 08, 2008

Works nicely to store 8 SD cards. Easy access to the cards. Bought it so I would not have small SD cards floating around in my camera bag and getting misplaced. Works as expected.

4Best Wallet I've seen for the price.Mar 23, 2008
By Jonathan Blocher "Humanities teacher"
It is quite sturdy. Cards are easy to insert and remove, and the labels on the cards are not obscured in any way by the case, as with some other wallets.

I'm a little concerned about pressure on the tiny slide that locks the card. One of mine just broke off, but I don't know if this case had anything to do with that. It could have just as easily happened with any other storage solution I've seen. I might just put a piece of cellophane tape over that side of the cards, keeping them permanently in read and write mode.

I bought this because recently I was shooting a wedding for friends, and just as the recessional started I needed to change cards in a hurry. The dang case the next card was in was so hard to open that I missed most of the recessional. I wish I had this case then; it would have solved that problem.

If I had been the designer I would have chosen a different color, but that's not important. This is the best solution I could find. The Targus aluminum clad case may be as good for a few dollars more, but I haven't handled one.

This little case is very nicely made and does what you would expect, holds the sd cards and keeps them safe, secure, organized, and ready for use. Cards fit in snugly and extract easily. Good size for carry.
