A must haveFeb 15, 2008
By Ronald H. Schwartz A few more dollars, but a must have. So much better then the "paper thin" stick on's. This coated glass protective shield self adheres and saves your LCD screen.

I received the item and attached to my camera as per instructions. After about a month with light camera use, the screen came lose and will now not stay on. Bummer.

LCD protection for your P & S cameraJul 18, 2010

I have a Panasonix Lumix ZS6. I love everything about this camera, but it would have been nice had Panasonic recessed their LCD screen. This Giottos protective cover is made of anti-reflective glass and is the perfect size to attach by way of the provided edge adhesive. In Giottos packing, they provide a slip out plastic representation of the exact size of the enclosed glass. Thus you can insure that you have the right size before committing to placing this glass on your camera LCD. Now when I set my precision camera down, this Giottos anti-reflective glass that covers the LCD provides an additional layer of protection. This Giottos glass also helps when your trying to see your image in bright sunlight. The cost was $20 and with it's dual function contributions, it seems a very cost effect manner to protect from scratches and reflexions while trying to compose a picture, or when setting your camera down. Be careful with your camera, as it is indeed a fragile precise electronic instrument. If you don't abuse your Lumix camera, I'd bet it'll last for years. I hope so, as it's a good and handy way to grab an image to help a memory. Glad I bought both the camera and the Giottos!

Great While It LastedSep 28, 2008
By Torrey Pines I use this on a Canon 40D. It protects the screen on the camera and it is like it's not there, until your nose touches it and then it readily gets soiled. Even with that issue, I would still like it since it protects the screen of the camera. HOWEVER, like other people have experienced, it fell off after 2 months of use. That's outrageous for an item that is only supposed to be able to be removed using a heat gun. I would not get this screen. It will not last. The glue is not what it should be. Perhaps it is contaminated with melamine.

Giottos Screen ProtectorNov 19, 2008
By Mark McCullough As I thought in my previous review of this LCD Protector...It is easily broken. This is my 2nd purchase in less than 9 mos. It broke when I accidentally bumped the protector while attaching my camera to my tripod. It is very thin glass but I think it is much better than any of the plastic screen protectors I have seen. It is expensive and I think I will break quite a few with my new camera but it is better than scratching or breaking the LCD Screen permanently. Just be very careful!
