Never lose/damage a chip againJun 30, 2008
By Thomas O. Hagan I managed to lose my spare chip on a recent vacation, limiting my photography. This case (neon color) is about as "unlosable" as I can imagine, and the rubbery soft exterior ensures I won't smash a chip in my luggage. I thought to look at it the chip might jiggle around. I was happily surprised to find they have stepped walls on each compartment so it snugly holds Sony Pro-Duo chips.

BEST SD Card Case out there for small carry and safe storageJul 05, 2010

I have several of these. It is hard to know what items are like and how the work if you do not live in an area withOUT a real photo store available. I love color coding my cases so these make that possible as well. What is wonderful about these are (as the other reviewer said:) rubberized- very rugged and it does have a solid plastic/composite shell with a strap loop, if you want to attach it to not lose it. The water tight seal (I have not tested- but assume it floats, as it is light)
I gave away one of mine to a friend who was new to digital cameras and SD cards, and in my showing her how to use this case...I pointed out one of the best ways to use this case when using and swapping out multiple SD cards, as to not get confused about which has been "exposed" ('used") or is the next one to be put into camera (assuming you use 3- 4 cards at a time as I do) If you hold case: THE SAME everytime so that the hinge is on left and opens on the right; you can place cards upside down (Text upside down- always keep contacts against case) and to the 'left' end as they are "used" and the empty cards will always be UP with text readable. As the 3rd card is placed in as 'used' then you know your case is FULL and you need to get to a computer and empty them or go on to next card case. THIS CASE is durable and strong slightly translucent(colors red, blue, yellow and onyx) easy to see what is inside. I recommend these for a beginner (or pro) that uses SD cards. I have been using mine since 2007 and they don't appear worn on outside, nor weak inside: they still hold/grip the cards firmly. If you have more than ONE kind of camera that use SD cards, then the colors will help you sort your projects.
A traveler would find these a blessing, both is safety,size/weight capacity and ease of use, but the different colors can make access fast and since they are translucent the airport folks can visual inspect. (I do not know what all the x-ray machine do to our modern media- but do not like the idea of zapping it)
If you are consistent about how you use it and open it the same way (hold it so hinge(up) and strap loop are on left - always) you will feel secure about always knowing how it opens and that cards will be face up,and not fall out; as well as my method of rotating 'used' (filled) cards as described above.
I kinda wish I had not given my extra one away.. since ordering, adds shipping cost; But this case is well worth the price.
MUST have for active photographers!Dec 20, 2011
By 13thframe If you are in any way active in your photography, this is an absolute must-have! I bought the Gepe Mini on e-bay. They were being sold in the U.K. for $7.95 so I bought two for a total of $23.00. I wish I had bought more! This is small, light, completely tight and safe for your SD cards. I live on the edge of the Great Basin, so moisture is not a problem, but dust is. This holds the cards in complete safety. Putting a lanyard through the eyelet lets me slip it into my pocket, and it is so light that I don't even know it's there. I like to hike around the hills to find images and am beginning to get weddings and portraits to shoot. I use small (2-4 MB) cards, so it is invaluable to have extras close by without having to instantly edit a full card or run back to the car for more. Overall I would encourage anyone get one of these little gems!
Great SD Card CaseApr 29, 2011
By S. Weitzel Short and Simple ... This is a great card case. I have made two orders for them already and now have 4 cases. I really like the neon color, its bright and easy to find quick in the bag and more likely to be noticed on a table if you walk away.
