5Best quality CD-RsMar 21, 2009
By Julie
The best quality CD-Rs are fuji-film and Verbatim, but fujifilm is often less expensive. FujiFilm CD-Rs will play on any player with no problem. Amazon or their associates have the best prices on Fujifilm CD-Rs, the 100 pack.

Correction: The Verbatim CD-R 100 pack is now cheaper than Fujifilm. Both are excellent. I will buy whichever is less expensive.

5Best Blank CD's of all and best priceDec 03, 2007
By Reg Owens "regowens.com"
Fugifilm blank CD's are the BEST I've ever used and I started using blanks back when they cost $8.00 each. If you burn on Fugifilm, you get great results EVERY TIME. And the Amazon store I purchased are fast shippers and the VERY BEST PRICE available ANYWHERE.... If I could I'd give a 10 star rating....

5Fuji from Japan gets a 100!Jul 06, 2007
By Craig Fenton "Craig The Airplane Man"
As the author of the Jefferson Airplane book "Take Me To A Circus Tent" and a former radio disc-jockey, I am often asked to write and or discuss various recordings from the 60's and 70's. Sometimes as a person that has worked in electronic stores my thoughts are requested on recording equipment and electronics.

Fujifilm 80-Minute 700MB 48X CD-R Media - 100 Count ( 25301481 )

Fuji has been ultra reliable for me as a recording medium for blank CDR's. I have used a substantial amount over the years for both data and pictures (Notes on my Jefferson Airplane book "Take Me To A Circus Tent" and photos) and for various rock and roll albums.

Please make sure you are getting the Fuji product that is made in Japan. The quality control is superlative!

The CD's have held up well and there have been very little that were defective right out of the package.

For maximum shelf life the recorded CD's should be in jewel cases and not in paper sleeves. If you are into making your own labels make sure to use the better quality paper. The inferior thin labels not only will curl up before they are placed on the CD but the glue will actually get into the CD itself. Many defective CD's are not the fault of the manufacturer but the consumer not using best judgment.

Enjoy the music and be well,
Craig Fenton

1BEWARE!!Dec 15, 2009

What is in the pictures is not what will be shipped to you. The blue packaged Fuji's pictured are made in Japan by Taiyo Yuden and are of the highest quality. What will be shipped to you are the vastly inferior made in Taiwan media in the gold package. I even called BEFORE ORDERING and was assured by customer service that what was pictured is what I am being shipped. HUGE INCONVENIENCE that could have been avoided by simply checking the bin to see what was being shipped that obviously wasn't done when I called before I ordered. I think they call it bait and switch or false advertising. You decide.
