We bought this so that we could keep our items dry while we were snorkeling. It kept everything nice and dry. We didn't really test it to any depth...it just floated on top while we were in the water. The opening is pretty tight and hard to get things organized in there. Holding area is not as big as the dimensions so don't expect to put alot in there. We had a phone, rental car key, some cash and our id's in the pouch and no room for anything else. Would reccomend.
