Good product, a bit overpriced...Sep 26, 2010

I got this hood for my Canon WD-H58 Wide Angle Lens Adapter which i use on a Canon HF S21 camcorder. The Lens has a diameter of 77.5mm and this hood is just 77mm, i knew this so i used a dremel to carefully widen the hood's adapter piece and now it fits perfectly.
It works great, there's no vignetting and it works just as any lens hood works, plus it makes the camcorder look a bit more pro.
The only downside is that the hood is made of rubber so it can bend if not properly stored. The price is a bit high for a rubber hood but worth it in the end imo since it does a good job, recommended.
